Aims & Requirements: Emergency response is the generic name of an interdisciplinary field dealing with the strategic organizational response processes used to protect critical assets of an organization from hazard risks that can cause events like disasters or catastrophes and to ensure the continuance of the organization within their planned lifetime. This course is planning to introduce public event emergency response and focus on information security emergency response. A unified, efficient and effective emergency response system has been necessary nowadays in order to deal with network security incidents, strengthen the protection of information systems and improve the viability of large-scale networks. This course is professional course for students majoring in information security and elective course for other majors. Through this course, students are supposed to gain basic knowledge, relative technology and operation processes of emergency response.
